when i first saw a dwerger (singular form) in the film, i thought that the dwergi looked like demented jawas. perhaps i have watched far too much star wars in my youth. ~lv

i kept thinking that in that cracking lab, R2D2 should have been sitting in a corner, the dwergi huddling around him and speaking in that garbled jawaspeak like in Star Wars: A New Hope... you know, shining his little dome....

Mm yeah, lol Maybe Stephen Sommers was a fan of Star Wars (heh, it wouldn't be a coincidence. A lot of people like Star Wars) or it was just a biggg coincidence.

is that what the sand people look like- dracula? wow...no wonder they wore those masks, they had to protect their glorious hair from the harsh tatooine climate.
