A melodious sound of violin music sang through one particular room, washing the walls with a silent yet despairing music. The maker of this particular music was crying, droplets of tears washing down her emotionless features as she continued swishing the fiddle of her violin with swift strokes on the strings of the dark brown violin. Light brown locks of wavy hair landed around her shoulder and it was smeared with wet tears. On her cheek was a droplet of blood, that was starting to wash away with her tears.
Her lips were frozen in place, and without sound from the maker of music, she kept the violin singing. A sad song that sang... death.
She, Amarius Pyiel Milliand was devastated. She was silent and wordless, but her expression was not. It was cold and saddened. She feared no death, and yet she felt so sad. Her friend had died, killed by vampires she so hated. Vampires so famous it was disgusting to hear. Dracula and his brides...
Amarius's eyes glowed with anger and sadness as more tears washed their way down her cheek. Her mind recalled her friend's face immediately. Those cold open eyes, and her frightened expression still etched on her face. Amarius shivered and stopped moving her fiddle. The music immediately stopped as well. She could hear her sister's voice... Her sister's thoughts.
She whirled her head towards the door and realized her sister was calling for her. After all, Amarius had locked herself in there.
"Yes, Sister?"
The door creaked open and Amarius saw Roxanne, and her lips trembled into a sorrowful frown as Amarius lowered her violin.
